TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN2

Quick one...
Something happened some hours ago that prompted me to write this...

Read this essay thoroughly...
Respond effectively...
And guide your tongue appropriately...

TAME YOUR TONGUE!!!

Friends should be like bra: close to your heart and all about support...

However, if your friend is not supporting (patronizing) your business, be very sure that you know what they're going through before you start making accusing remarks like: "you don't want to buy bags from me abi?" I mean, you don't even know if s/he has bought anything fancy for herself in years! Okay that's a bit of an exaggeration but you know what I mean...

Now, if this friend has confided in you that s/he is not patronizing your endeavor as s/he'd love to because s/he's not financially buoyant, it would be gross insensitivity on your part to constantly go on and on about how they're not buying from you and playing the shame game every chance you get as if you actually caught them buying the same thing from another seller...

You probably do not see any big deal in this but it hurts in ways you may never be able to fathom that a friend (relative even) who loves you very much and wishes you well cannot prove their support beyond "Nnaa jisi ike. Ya gazie..." If someone genuinely cares, it is shameful enough that they have to explain to you that the Broke Estate in which they are currently resident will not allow them be great... Then you go on and on about how they wouldn't patronize you and add salt to their injury...

But who can measure the depth of a friend's love? It is mostly by little actions like pushing our hustle that they prove their love for us. Well understood...

Granted, ngwere niile makpu amakpu, a maghị nke afọ na-asa. Which is why you must watch them carefully, guide your emotions very passionately against making hasty, uninformed assumptions, and learn to tame that tongue of yours that tend to spit worded swords at the innocent... You'll never know how deep the damage...

Ka ọ ragodi m nọọfụ biko...
Ka m kwufọ nke m ga-ekwu echi...
Be properly guided!!!
