ONYII LOVE

Welcome aboard my lovely lovers😍😘💖
It's our day today💏

The 'Onyinye' character of the 2018 movie titled 'LIONHEART' is one that I find very endearing, interesting, enchanting even; so much so that I found myself writing on her... I chose this day to publish this post because it is lovers' day today and although most people celebrate the erotic kind of love, I think the 'Onyii' kind of love is more than worth celebrating; it should be greatly esteemed...

So, ladies and gentlemen, a review of the above mentioned character by yours truly. Enjoy...

ONYII LOVE

I'm Onyinye... Leaving... *giggles*
The look on Adaeze and Hamza's face🤣!
Ọ sịkwa nọọ Onyinye Leaving...
Kee ụdị mmadụ bụ ihe a bikonu😕?
Onyinye: A gift indeed!

Her name is Onyinye... Leaving...😂

Ekwurekwu(II) of LIONHEART (after Chief Goddy...😂). A loyalist, an enthusiast, lover of Adaeze's soul; her PA, friend (at heart), well wisher, cheerleader, super fan, open admirer, a deeply concerned heart, etc, all rolled into one very lovely petite figure... Who could have played 'Onyinye' better than her?

There's so much love, respect, admiration, adoration, worship even, in her heart for her boss. She's been around long enough to figure, that her boss is virtually friendless (and if somebody loves and picks interest in you that much, even a week is too long to figure you out), so in addition to being her PA, she made herself her friend, cheerleader, soul sister, die-hard fan, etc, and this she portrayed with every move/utterance she made in that movie.
"I think you'll make a very good MD ma.
There's no Lionheart without you.
No disrespect to Chairman..."

A very happy character, so very happy that even her seemingly uptight boss' flat responses to her excitement-laden greetings wouldn't deter her.
And Ada could not comprehend such love.
Look at her like:
"What have I done to deserve this?"

Somehow she feels the weight of her burden,  the pangs of her pain, and basks in her glow. She understands...
The look on her face as she
served Samuel the document,
like "you dare antagonize
my madam?
You got served!!"

Well, you already know she's the happiest person in the room!

Love so sure, so confident, so assured. Why else would somebody shout at a policeman at the station on account of someone else without thinking twice?
"I can't believe they'd actually lock you up in here!"

"Like, una know who she be?"

I know someone would argue that her assurance comes from the assurance that whom she defends is very capable: money and connection-wise to get her out of anything, but there, you get my message, and I daresay that her actions portrayed that all she thought about at that point in time was the insult on her boss' personality, the stress she (her boss) had to go through, and the danger looming over The Lionheart company courtesy of her absence.
"Igwe Paschal is in the building"

"Release my madam! Officer!!"

A truly, deeply, concerned Aproko. She called to report that Adaeze didn't report to work. I don't suppose that would be the first time Ada would be absent at work in that company, or since Onyinye joined that company given her position and relationship with the owner, but apart from the fact that she knows it's quite unlike Adaeze to be deliberately absent at the office, and being her PA, she would know whether or not she had obligations taking her out of the office... Plus, she saw her act weird at the office the day before and must have felt her crumbling spirit in her gut. And who knows? She may have tried to call her a million times without getting through, then she had to call her mom as she needed to check on her but had to be in the office... I bet she called later (beyond the scenes... Lol😂) to get her feedback from the mother. Onyinye is a great lover...

To love is nothing... Loving Adaeze is like breathing to Onyii, the only strings attached being that loving her is some soul entertainment of sort for her ever happy soul. The following words adapted from 'My Soul Sista' by Alka Pal might just have been straight from the deepest part of Onyii's heart:

"She is not my real sister
Nor found her on Twitter
We met in an institution
And (I) got an intuition...

I love her the most
And have (in her) faith utmost...

I share in her grief
And handle them softly...

My chest at her pains heaves
And her smile's my soul's relief
I am her advocate by profession...

I love you Adaeze
Please please find some Mr.
Find some handsome man
Of whom I can become a fan

Your child cum sista, Onyii"

To be loved is something... But Adaeze didn't seem to realize the awesomeness of what she really had in Onyinye.

When next you pray, ask for an Onyinye. Everyone needs uplifting words, soothing smiles, inspiring enthusiasm, understanding heart, and a very happy soul around them, and these and many more are all part of the 'Onyinye' package.

If you already have this gift, and like Adaeze do not really realize it, may the Lord open your eyes. Then the following words adapted from 'Soul Sisters' by Christina McCullouch will be your Thanksgiving:

"Such an amazing girl God put into my life
He knew I needed you at the exact time
Funny when we met,
I thought you were too good for me
But when you approached me
The sweetest girl I did meet...

You have been the rock
When I needed a friend around.
You have been the light
When darkness consumed me
And took away my sunshine...

I feel I've always had you in my life
Soul sisters we were meant to be.
You, my beloved friend
Are such a fresh breeze...

You are a burst of joy to me
Each day I thank the Lord
For the sweet blessing he gave!"

CRUSH💞CHRONICLES💞II

Welcome aboard Lovelies😍
Feb says hi👋

Like I said in the first episode, the Motivationals that I'd be doing here are directed firstly to me and myself. So, take these words from a damsel who is almost always tongue-tied around the objects of her deepest affection...😜
Apply these words and lead a super fulfilling life, or should I say, super fulloving life, devoid of 'what ifs' and 'what woulds'. Don't you worry about me, I'll be alright...🤗

Let Them Know

I understand that it's sometimes scary to tell someone your true feelings because you may not have any idea how they feel about you and how they would react, but the truth remains that you'd never know if you never try. What if the feeling is mutual? Well, you'll never know until you tell them how you feel about them. It may not be easy because most of us are afraid of rejections and heartbreaks, but you know what I consider more fearful? The fact that you get to spend the rest of your life wondering:

"What if I had talked to him?"
"What if s/he likes me?"
"What if I didn't dodge her...?"

So many "What if"s.

Tell them what you feel. Show them. It doesn't make you weak or vulnerable. It makes you human.

It hurts, very much, I must add, when you take the risk and shoot that shot and s/he doesn't feel the same way. It hurts even more, when they make that known to you in the most hostile manner. It pierces the heart, that they don't reject you outright, but go ahead to befriend you and have you watch them be with someone else what you'd rather be with them. In that case, let yourself feel the pain and give yourself some credit for being brave enough to tell someone your genuine feelings. Don't regret it. It's very much worth telling because real feelings don't come so easily, and it's a precious thing when it happens.

Delay is dangerous. Don't let fear of the unknown stop you from telling someone your true feelings. Save your time and energy: tell them. Save them for yourself because you know what they say: "A closed mouth is a closed destiny." Do your part, voice your feelings. Better an I-tried-but-it-didn't-work-out story, than that of I-shoulda-coulda-woulda. Tell them first, then if it doesn't work out, you'll know that it wasn't meant to be. I don't know about you but I'd rather be in the know than spend the rest of my life in wonder land. Even Alice had to leave at some point, why don't you?

There's no sugarcoating how much it hurts when your love is unrequited, but the pain cannot be worse than what goes with endless wonder.

You only live once. You shouldn't spend the short while you have here wondering what could have been. Summon some courage. Follow your heart. It's okay to be scared. But should we wallow in utmost fear that love eludes us? Mba! Chineke ekwela!! Overcome your fears and watch your life become more meaningful. Go for it!!!

We'll wrap this up with some lines from a great poet/philosopher:👇

"Alas!
 Is even love too weak
 To unlock the heart
 And let it speak?
 Are even lovers powerless
 To reveal to one another
 What indeed they feel?
I knew the mass of men concealed their   thoughts
 For fear that if revealed
They would by other men be met
 With blank indifference,
 Or with blame reproved;
I knew they lived and moved
 Tricked in disguises,
Alien to the rest of men
 And alien to themselves;
 And yet the same heart
 Beats in every human breast!

 But we, my love!
 Doth a like spell benumb
 Our hearts, our voices?
 Must we too be dumb?

 Ah!
 Well, for us,
 We, even for a moment,
 Can free our hearts
 And have our lips unchained;
 For that which seals them
 Hath been deep ordained!"

MOTIVATIONALS💪(1)

Happy 🥂New💐Year🍾!!! 💃

Welcome aboard Lovelies 🚣‍♀️🛳️🏄‍♀️🚣‍♀️⛴️🏄‍♂️✈️to the first of the very first. I'm glad we made it! No. 2019 made it! Cos we're alive in it😁. Cheers to super doper awesome days ahead 🍻

The Motivationals that I'd be doing here are directed firstly to me and myself. So I'm sharing with you the words that I speak to myself to pull me up... They can do the same for you...
#touchofIgbopostalert!

PAY ATTENTION 🧐

Ihe ị na-achọ na Sokoto dị na your sokoto. Naanị legharịa anya, gbado anya, ị ga-ahụ ya. Everything you need to succeed has been settled by providence, you only have to wake up and pay attention. With enough dose of desire and determination, you must find what you're looking for.  You just have to overcome your personal and environmental challenges...

Now your background is not your business. It's not your matter at all. Your business is to change that condition and level of living that you are not okay with. You have to desire it so much that your desire towers above your challenges: fear of the unknown, doubts, physical appearance, family background, social status, or the lack thereof  etc (personal challenges); others' success, others' failure, distractions, folks' castigation, economic meltdown, etc (environmental challenges). You must possess more than enough desire to disarm these challenges and fuel your determination...

Then the things (opportunities, resources, skills, etc) that have been lying unnoticed all along will manifest. These are just the things you need to rock your world of success; the very vehicles that'll take you there! Hop into them as soon as they appear and enjoy the ride!! Do that much and watch the things you're looking for come looking for you with much BIGGER rewards than you ever imagined!!! 💌🤑✈️

Wishing🙏us all an awesome🤓2019🤗

Christmas Carol🎼A Savior Is Born🎶

Welcome Lovelies, and Merry 🥂🍾Christmas🎄to you all... 😍

This one is for the creative damsels of St. John of God Secondary School, Awka, Anambra State. Yea, you guessed right, my alma mater. We are amazing; the best of the very best.

Founders day, inter house sports, Christmas party, send off party, social nights, etc, are some of the events that make the most of our creative minds and skills. So these girls will sit/stand round and do justice to a random tune, mash up the lyrics or change it altogether and make something cute out of it.

In preparation for Christmas party that year, they transformed the lyrics of this very very very old popular tune to suit the season. The version below is the original St. John of God version, modified and edited by a now-grown-up me🤷‍♀️.

Now, in the spirit of Christmas, the first person to comment the tune (i.e, the name of the original song), and its source will get something from me. The first person to go further and comment with the full lyrics of the original song will get something² from me. Attempt all options... 😋

On'y va!

Christmas Carol🎼A Savior Is Born🎶

A savior is born
Child of royal birth
Heir of promises
Appears on earth

Our saviour is here
Child of royal birth
He came our fallen souls to raise

The Christ by raptured seers foretold
Filled with the eternal spirit's power
Prophet and priest and king
Behold
Prince of meekest power

The lord of hosts
The God most high
King of kings
Lord of lords
With joy from the sky
With all the fullness of his grace

I adore this saviour
Jesus son of Mary
Salvation is here
God amongst men dwells
Now the earth is immersed
In a supreme love
The son of man
Is
Born

WOMB ESCAPE💃! 💃! 💃!

Yay💃!
I just can't keep calm Lovelies🙉! 🙉!
It's my anniversary🍰🎂!🌹💐! 🥂🍾 !

Today in history, a special kind of special👸escaped womb; my priority, my cabin in the woods, my own star in the midnight sky: my darling Self💁‍♀️.

Happy birthday to you dear Me😍.
Joyeux anniversaire Cherie ma chérie.
Feliz cumpleaños mi dulce amor
Buon compleanno a te dolcezza...
In every language😁😁😁

Ka chi bọrọ taa bọtara gị ihe ọma niile
Ị ga-adị... 🥂🍾

In my first article I talked about how words seduce me. Well, recently I came across yet another set that hit my very spot; deep-set words that uplift souls at all times (especially when life is low).

So on this very birthday that marks the end of the most distressing year of my life so far, and the beginning of a much more promising and exciting year🙏, I speak these words to🗣️myself. I can't seem to get enough of the orgasms that they give me... 😜

So when life pushes me to hate on myself, when it seems nothing is working out and I feel my life sucks, when I look around and it seems that mates are leading 'oh-so-perfect lives' on Instagram and I look at myself and wonder what's wrong with me, when the thick, dark, evil hole called depression tries to swallow me, when it seems that the forces of the universe would work in anything but my favour, 👇

I Will Tell...

(Christian Emegwa)

Chimnaecheremechicheọmamgbeniile...

Dear Self,
On nights when you feel
Like your mouth is filled with scar tissue,
When your fists are heavier
Than your clay heart,
Remember the broken,
That does not need replacement.
Remember the lungs that pound air,
In a body too tired to kiss the sun.

Tell yourself you're still working on it;
Say healing,
Say taking my time,
Say patience...
Dear heart,
Say revolution
And revelation
And rising
Say love💞 love😍love💕
